Is it a bad sign on my part if I want to leave my partners place to go back to mine

He (M35) has two kids that I (F23)love but I’m new to this environment where I have no time alone or privacy. We have been dating for 4 months and he prefers me at his place.He has a 1 bedroom apartment with his bed and the kids bunk bed in the same room. I feel awkward so I sleep on the couch if they’re not with their bio mom.
