My son is 18 months old now. Starting around 15mo, he would start throwing a fit and throw food everywhere when we tried to clean his hands and face after meals. At this point we generally hadn't allowed any screen time other than Music Choice for music (usually classical as background noise) but we started using YouTube videos on the TV to distract him while cleaning up. He enjoyed a video of baby shark on loop for a while, then we did farm animals making noises and would moo at the cows, then we happened upon Little Baby Bum. He absolutely loves those videos and now asks for it during meals, pointing at the TV and saying "bum!" He just stares at it with a glazed over look on his face but will get rather angry when we turn it off. We now let him watch it for about an hour a day and he doesn't freak out as much when we turn it off. I figure 1hr a day is fine but does anyone else's kid become a zombie watching LBB or some other TV like this? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3ecrwVE
