My wife and I have an almost 3 year old boy and I’m frustrated with the baby monitor market. If this isn’t the right place to ask for advice on equipment please let me know.We had a VTech video monitor that lasted about a year before the USB connector broke. It was just past warranty so I bought another and eventually, that one also broke. Amazon had a lot of reviews saying the connector would break so I gave up and bought a different monitor. Right now we have a Eufy SpaceView camera which we’re generally happy with but I got a new one under warranty as the original’s battery wasn’t lasting very long. The new one’s battery works well but the range is bad and disconnects from even a couple of rooms away. I’ve contacted the manufacturer and asked for another replacement.Overall though, I’m frustrated with the two units we’ve had and wondering if anyone has any baby monitors they really like.
