I have a friend who is in a group text with 3 of his best friends of 20+ years. Friend 1 sent an obscene picture to the group text and said wtf did I just come across. Friend 2 gets mad at friend 1 for sending the picture because his daughter saw it, she is under 12 years old. Lets just say a cactus a vagina and a needle piercing the clit were involved. However, in this group text, there had been obscene texts, and pictures, memes, gifs and you get the idea. Friend 1 says I'm sorry she saw it, but you should have let us know you let her go through your phone or told us to keep it pg or pg13 or R or less. Keep in mind this group is a year old roughly. So friend 2 insults friend 1 in every way possible saying he has a family and kids and friend 1 would never understand etc. Friend 2 says the friendship is over and says friend 1 is dumb and lonely and an idiot and so on and so forth. Friend 1 says well its not my phone, I am sorry she saw it, but I'm not sorry for sending the pic or talking shit with everyone in here. Had we known, or had any indication of keeping things at a certain level, then sure I'd be at fault for doing that, but unfortunately it was a group text between friends of 20+ years and we never knew your daughter reads our texts.
