Neighbor (13f) purposely hurt my one year old son. How do I handle this?

Long story short, we’ve been disputing legally with our neighbors (40ish year old father and mother, 13 year old daughter, 10 year old son) who can’t keep their German shepherd under control and out of our yard. He is very aggressive and has attacked our 7lb shih tzu on multiple occasions. They have one more chance before they are charged and the dog is taken from them. There is quite a beef between us. Yesterday my husband was verbally attacked by the father, but thankfully he just walked away without allowing this man to continue. This evening my husband and I were out for a walk with our 13 month old son in his stroller. We are talking and not really paying attention to our surroundings and we all of a sudden hear “GO” and here comes the 13 year old on a skateboard out of a friend of hers’ driveway. She plows full speed into my son’s stroller and knocks it clear onto its side. My son’s face and arm is bloodied up and we are furious. I consoled my son and told these girls to get their parents. I kept my cool even though every ounce of my being wanted to attack this girl. Both sets of parents come out and claim it was a mistake and hurried up and shuttled the girls inside. I know for a FACT that these two saw us coming and tried running the skateboard in front of us, but got lucky enough to hit us. How on earth do I handle this situation? The idiot parents are obviously not going to cooperate. I’m totally fine with petty people and situations until they bring my son into it.. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2XVESQv
