Me (30/M) and my partner (28/F) have been together 5 years and we have two toddlers (3&4) together. It's reached the point where we just can't stand each other and we tolerate each other for the kids, but there's no deeper relationship than that. Everything is super passive aggressive and I have no desire for her anymore.We've been snapping at each other all afternoon and making passive remarks, and I'm hiding in the bathroom typing this. We're not going into full blown argument mode because we do start couples therapy this Wednesday, but honestly, I think that's more to have a moderator around to keep us grounded as we unpack every little thing we both have pent up inside us. This really isn't gonna work.I would just like to know where to go from here. She has support around this city (we moved states, away from my family, near hers. Her mom lives with us) and I really have nobody here. No friends, no family. Texas law sides with the mother. Should I try and keep things civil until I have saved up enough for a place of my own?
