So, I’ll try to get to the point, but here’s a little back story...I ended up hooking up with an acquaintance back in Feb 2019; I got pregnant, my then 9yr old son and I had to move in with him BD2 (baby daddy #2 🤦🏼♀️ikik- AND his mom, his step dad, his little brother and his wife).So in the downstairs bathroom I noticed a USB plug and swore up and down for weeks it was a camera (I DO NOT KNOW WHY I DIDNT JUST CHECK WHEN I THOUGHT THAT’S WHAT IT WAS- pregnancy??) anyhow, FINALLY I got him to look at it, the top lens popped off and we were like WTF.. but BD2 put it back. He then called his brother, they decided they wouldn’t say or do anything because they didn’t want to upset their mom or step dad.This was the end of our relationship as I knew it.I hung in there, toughed it out... obviously I didn’t want to be there so I would go to my sisters or dads for weeks at a time.Eventually I got dumped!! Thank God! I didn’t have to feel like the bad guy.Well, I move back in with my dad, and one day BD2 decided he wasn’t going to give my daughter back to me. I called the cops. There’s no custody order, so I’m fucked, but I still had this feeling about that camera in the bathroom that everyone was just brushing under the rug (ironically the previous day I told him he has 3 days to figure out that hidden camera shit, and also told him if I need to go and confront every one face to face, by allllll means). So I tell the cops that. They said there isn’t much they can do given the length of time, the camera isn’t there anymore yada yada... but they say they’ll go check it out, give me the report number then leave.So the cops go to his house, and were there for a while ... Later on that day, he gives me my daughter back and proceeded to tell me that they found A DIFFERENT HIDDEN CAMERA! It was the smoke detector (I KNEW IT DAMN IT! My prego nesting was going through EVERY smoke detector in that house- the bathroom one wasn’t there at that time); that they took laptops etc and it’s being investigated. I’m pissed the cops never even got back to me. It’s crazy! AND THEY LEFT MY 1Yr DAUGHTER THERE!? Really??!!Well, now that family is keeping tight lips. Won’t tell anyone else who had used that bathroom what was in there, and is just acting like it never happened. God forbid one of their skeletons falls out.Well, I’ve since allowed my daughter to visit during the days but only when he’s there. She hasn’t stayed the night there ever since day.My question is, would anyone feel remotely comfortable with their toddler at a home that has already been caught with hidden cameras in bathrooms? There’s so many gross MF out there, and always the ones we least suspect.. he should move the fuck out already! Oh and his 15 yr old daughter just moved in with him from Vegas after I moved out. WHY IS HE SO COMFORTABLE THERE WITH HIS KIDS THERE?! There’s something so not right about this.... I’ve talked to the investigator, he said he doesn’t suspect BD2 has anything to do with the cameras (yet anyway); but said he doesn’t think she would be in any harms way so long as BD2 is ALWAYS present when she’s there- the only reason I decided to let her go without me present.I’m sure I’ve left out info, I apologize, I just need to ask... and let more than my family know.I just don’t know... I’m so disgusted and humiliated and violated and idk how to describe it to be honest.Thoughts? Opinions? Reprimands? Why the hell would the cops leave a kid where hidden cameras are present!?Last- I can’t get a copy of the police report as there are now new victims also added on to it.Thanks! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2IieBam
