We have a 4.5 year old and 1.5 year old and a week old newborn, all boys.The two older kids have been great playmates, but now the oldest is absolutely obsessed with the new baby and keeps talking about how he loves him and keeps running off to be with him, and not giving the middle kid any attention at all.I’m not quite sure how to handle this, it’s obviously hurting middle kid’s feelings, I understand everyone has a preference and I don’t want older kid to feel like he has to be inauthentic, but I don’t want him to be hurtful and ruin his relationship with his little brother.
