Our 16 month old boy in the last couple of weeks is just whining and winging constantly. Everything is the end of the world. From morning to night, he doesn't want to play with toys. He doesn't want to watch Disney and cuddle, he doesn't want to be held and walked around. He constantly wants to either be outside, or fiddling with household things like letters, boxes, shoes, rulers, pencils EVERYTHING that isn't a toy. If he is not allowed to do these things, then he just cries and whines constantly. I've tried leaving him to see if he will just get fed up with whining, but the record so far is 25 minutes standing at the edge of the living room table wanting whatever household items were on there. 25 minutes of constant crying and whining, without pause. Until I went and moved him away, so he could continue crying on the sofa.He moans when we dress him, change him, feed him, I feel so bad for my wife who is with him more then I am during the week. I just wish I could find something for him to do that he enjoys, that is actually FOR HIM. I just want the constant whining to stop lol. I feel like he is ready to start communicating verbally and is getting frustrated that he can't and that we aren't understanding what he is trying to say to us 😂 via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3EF7RuQ
