I have a 3-year-old and a 9-month-old. Both of them test my patience, obviously. Of course we're all only human and will get annoyed or fed up or etc. Recently it seems to be getting harder as the younger one continues to present new challenges. What do you do in the moment that helps you stay cool? I read a bit of advice somewhere about a mom who imagines putting in a super hero suit every time she feels like she has to step up and model patience. This imagery actually works for me sometimes, but lately I cannot muster that much positivity. Other people have suggested punching a pillow or other such ways of letting off steam after holding it in with a child. That method doesn't seem to work for me.I'm really curious: do you have something that works for you? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/30COtft
