Child endangerment?

My son is 5 years old. This summer was the first full summer he spent with his father. I have 70% custody. His father admitted to me that he had our son stay in his room for three days straight (except to eat meals and go to the bathroom) with no toys or screens, nothing. They did this because my son is going through some sibling rivalry with his younger brother (from his dad and his current girlfriend) and knocked him down resulting in hurting his 2 year old brother. My ex claims they kept my son in his room because when asked why he did what he did he said "I don't know" and his father also was displeased that our son wasn't empathic of hurting his younger brother.Is what my ex did to my son considered child endangerment? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3kiQpCX
