Soliciting advice on how to prevent children's access to the television at night.

I have a child who is clandestinely watching television at night. It's pretty easy to prevent unauthorized access to computers phones and tablets. But this doesn't seem to be the case with the television. I thought for sure that the television would have some sort of PIN access system you could set up that would prohibit access to the television without entering entering the PIN. But apparently that was too simple and straightforward for Samsung. Sure, you can prevent access to specific apps, etc, but on this particular model you can't prevent access to the TV itself, meaning over-the-air broadcast channels are still free game for anyone who turns on the tv.I've been trying to search for tv models with a feature like this, but it's been slow going. (Un)surprisingly, this doesn't seem to be a high demand feature. So I'm posting this to see if anyone here has any suggestions. Ideally I'd like to get suggestions on specific television models that offer the feature I'm looking for. Short of that I'd be interested in any other ideas that don't involve placing the television behind locked doors. And if you feel like you need to offer behavioral advice, well that's fine, but it's really not what I'm looking for at this time. Thanks in advance. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3ifwJ0L
