Yesterday I was outside with my oldest, blowing bubbles. He poured his liquid out and was getting upset that I wouldn't give him mine (how could I blow bubbles for him to chase with no liquid?) when I saw a bee settle on a toy house behind him.I pulled him close to me just in case, and we stood about two feet away."Look C, bee," I said, and he turned to look."Bee!"So I told him about bees, how they make the honey we eat, and we discussed the bee a little (including the fact that it had been working hard to collect pollen and was having a rest). Then the bee flew away."Bye bye bee!" C said, happily waving at the bee.Kids are so pure! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/36wzZlH
