In need of some major advice. I’m a new mom. My LO is 10 weeks old. We were planning on traveling (via car) for the holidays. Most of everyone we are seeing has been working from home and limiting their outings so we feel pretty safe being their for the holidays. Until now. The pediatrician recommends that everyone be up to date with their shots (they are) and get the flu shot. Well apparently a huge majority of my family is anti flu shot and refusing to get it. I hate the idea of putting my son at risk (even though it appears the family is doing what they need to for COVID) but also we’ve planned for this trip (other family is traveling specifically to see my LO) and I feel so guilty cancelling plans for something like the flu shot. Any advice on how we should handle this? I’m seriously at a loss that my family won’t even consider getting the damn flu shot via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3myXNKR
