Geeze, out of all the negative side effects of this pandemic, I feel like the mental health of my daughter is the biggest in our family (sorry if that sounds selfish, we haven't had any actual deaths).At the start of this my wife and I were doing our best to think of ways to entertain and amuse her, keep her stimulated. And it worked well, until now, with this weather. We can't go outside nearly as often, which we made a point of doing every day (nearby amazing public playground). So, she is stuck inside, with toys, but no friends, dad (me) working most of the day, and mom so busy with a newborn (2month old).Today she started talking TO the iPad and my damn heart just broke. We're immigrants and both our families are very far away. My mother just started reading to her via this book-sharing app every Mon, Wed and Friday, so hopefully that'll be something.
