We’re all sick (not corona- ear infections with a hefty dose of viral misery) and my 1yo is on a sleeping strike. Going on day 9 here of coughing, puking because the baby coughs and cries and gets so worked up (freaks the fuuuck out if we try to suction nose and definitely will puke), shitting and 4 hour increments of sleep, half assed attempts at virtual schooling for my older child and I’m SO over it. Also, yeast infection from the antibiotics, why the hell not? My house is a disaster right now, I don’t have it in me. If my self absorbed MIL gives one more empty mention of babysitting I might just light her on fire. I don’t think I can do this anymore. Thank god my husband has a seemingly unending well of patience because I’m low key contemplating suicide, even with his help outside of work. Seasonal depression is just the cherry on top.
