I was raised by a covert, narcissistic, single mother. We were deeply enmeshed and she committed emotional incest. I know she tried her best. For the things she didn't intentionally do, she also intentionally abused me, denied things she did and arrogantly/stubbornly defended her poor decisions that negatively impacted me.
