My 5 year old stood up for her best friend today!

The pandemic has been hard on everyone, so to improve the mental health of our virtual learning kids, we go outdoors for social distance, masked up play dates. My daughter’s bestie “Betty” was riding her scooter when 3 of her classmates crowded behind the scooter because they wanted a turn. Betty panicked (because the kids needed to social distance) and she started crying. My daughter “Veronica” was a 26 weeker preemie and is smaller than all her peers, told them “You all need to say sorry to Betty, because you crowded her and made her cry!” The kids turned around and told Betty they were sorry. My heart soared with happiness when I witnessed this. I thought Veronica was so brave for standing up to her classmates and speaking up for her friend. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3xCItTs
