11 year old daughter has bitten her nails consistently since toddler-hood. As a toddler, we tried the bad tasting polish, we tried positive reinforcement (of she grows them she can go to spa day with mom), we even tried wearing gloves when not distracted. Last Spring, she was diagnosed with GAD and I kind of hoped that the therapy would help but it hasn't. Earlier I noticed that her nails a bitten nearly down to the nail bed. I had a tough talk with her about the health risks (germ transmission, nail bed damage, etc). Does anyone have any advice or tips to help? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3aUT1DM
