At the very beginning of my wife's pregnancy, after many tests and genetic tests, we ruled out the greatest genetic diseases that could appear in the first trimester. Last week - at the beginning of the second trimester, we learned that our unborn child has yet another genetic defect that will affect his physics (changes in the skull, face, arms, legs) and psyche, significant developmental delay - aparts and pfeiffer. We are devastated and to be honest we do not know what emotions are tormenting us. Time is pouring through our hands and we try to survive until the interview of a psychologist who may or may not give us the green light for abortion (the legal route). We are not ready to raise a child with such a handicap, does that mean we are bad parents? We have a boy, a three-year-old boy who is amazing, who waits for his little sister and every time he ask about her, our hearts break down. Do genetic testing as soon as possible. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3cBymWc
