It turns out my child’s therapist is an unlicensed social work from DCF. What???

So basically my SS (6) just started therapy. We went with the pediatrician’s referral. She gave us terrible vibes. Looking into it, she’s an unlicensed social worker who works for a company owned by DCF. So what’s going on? This really isn’t the type of therapy we wanted for our son.
