I was at a family birthday party and it was a pretty big one. I'm having mom quilt because I was distracted catching up with family and there was a point where I wasn't watching my four year old well enough and she was sitting on pool steps. Nothing happened thank god but I can't believe I let that happen. It was a good amount of time she was unattended and I was thinking now that she could have easily slipped into the water and to the bottom and what if I didn't hear it or see it to jump in?! I'm up just thinking about how awful that was of me. I'm pretty shaken up about it.Anyways .... just a reminder to not be like me and watch your kids around water.
