We were luck to never have the need to out my oldest son in daycare. My almost 2 year old (22 months) was in day care for roughly a month in a half. In those first few weeks he came down with boogers and a cough. That cleared up and he was good.Last Thursday they sent out a message saying there was confirmed kids with hand-foot-mouth (in the 2 year old room, he's in another room). I kept him home Friday and hoped they used the weekend to sanitize. Monday we had to take him and when my wife picked him up she said she found him in the 2 year old room (where the confirmed kids were)We didn't take him back all week in hopes that he didn't catch it, but unfortunately on Friday he developed the symptoms. Fever, started getting small blisters on his hands, his feet and hands look spotted.I know there isn't anything we can give him to make it go away, it just has to run its course but aside from ibuprofen and Tylenol what else can we do?Any tips or advice to comfort him as much as possible? For those of you that never heard of it here's a link from the cdc. hand-foot-mouth virus via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3iSWGXn
