At what age did you take your baby to the eye doctor and dentist?

My son will be 6 months old on Monday. He has a heart condition so he sees both a cardiologist and his pediatrician. His pediatrician mentioned scheduling an eye exam and a dental exam at his 4 month checkup. I scheduled both exams for the next couple of weeks. My vision was horrible as a child so if he needs corrective lenses, I would rather start sooner than later. He doesnt have any teeth yet.
