Can't get 3.5 year old to poop in the potty.

I posted here a little more than a year ago when I was having trouble with my (then) 2 year old twins, they wouldn't use the potty chair. Most of the advice was that it just might be too early for them, to wait a bit and try again, which was good advice. They're not quite 3 and a half now, and my boy is fully potty trained, hasn't had an accident in at least a month. My daughter is stuck in this weird halfway place though. She'll pee in the potty on her own whenever she needs to, doesn't say anything to us, just goes in and does it. But we can't for the life of us get her to poop in the potty. She just goes to a corner in their toy room and poops, then waits there 'til she's found.I've tried putting the potty in the corner she usually goes to, thinking if it was there she might use it, but no luck. It doesn't seem like a developmental thing, she's quite smart and hyper-verbal, she speaks both my wife's and my native language quite well.I'm pretty much out of ideas, talking to her about it hasn't helped, she'll just lie and say she'll use the potty from now on if pressed enough. I don't want to use punishments or anything, and I don't think they would work. Rewards haven't helped. I'm sort of tearing my hear out about this, and I know it's making me react more angrily than I should when it happens.I would reeeeeally appreciate any advice anyone has about this, because I don't really know where to go from here. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3yegGIi
