So today we dropped off our almost 17mo to the daycare for his trial. He will stay for 3 hours the first two weeks and the he will go full day once a week. He was sort of playing when we were saying goodbye and he didn't understand we were leaving. We went down to his level and told him we would be back 3 hours later and kissed him. We left and heard a tiny whine that was just for 10 seconds and nothing else. Not that I'm not happy he's not so upset and didn't cried his eyes out but me and my husband were worried if this was an indicator of any problem regarding attachment or anything else.
