Getting my 5 yo to do his "homework"

How do I get my child to cooperate with me and do his phonics and writing? Every time I try and get him to do it, he starts throwing a fit and there's a power struggle. I tell him he can do x after he's done with it, but it's just not working. He'll just go and do other stuff. Please help! via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3CK6Gd2
