Someone tell me I’m not over reacting. So I’m not necessarily a STAHM. I work for an Elementary school, so of course I’m home during the summer. My husband threw a fit today because I asked him to check if the pasta was done cooking. He said that he works all day and that I should be checking in on it (mind you I just made an entire dinner from scratch). I proceeded to tell him that I’m working to, I’m home all day with our almost 2 year older. He said that doesn’t compare to his job and that I shouldn’t consider it a job because I’m a mom, that’s just what I have to do. He said if I’m not cooking or cleaning I would have nothing to contribute, so the least I can do is maintain the home, clean & cook all while taking care of our baby. Im disgusted. This isn’t the first time this has happened. So here I am writing this post as I sit on the couch alone and crying. He’s sound asleep :) I just want to know I’m not alone. Any advice Is appreciated!!
