My 14 month old and I have a ritual. Earlier we used to take a walk with him in the stroller, around the block sometimes a little further depending on his mood where I used to keep talking to him about whatever I saw.Now that we has just started to walk, we hold hands and walk. We would hardly take a hundred steps but those 100 steps are the most enjoyable.He would stop by to pick up a colorful pebble, or a leaf or a shiny candy wrapper but the excitement on his face is priceless. This morning he picked up a leaf that was so beautiful, it had all the colors from green on one side to brown on the other end. A shiny pebble, some dead bug, a flower, have been added to today's collection.I have a box of all these items he collects everyday and never in a million years would I have even spotted these if not for him.I just wish he doesn't grow up 😍. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3CVt9Ep
