I woke up to the news of a Covid positive pregnant woman who's baby died because she was forced to give birth prematurely at home. This happened yesterday in Chiba, Japan. She was 29 weeks pregnant and was self quarantined at home since earlier this month. Her condition got worse and she started bleeding and feeling contractions. Even she called for help, and said she felt like labor was starting, she couldn't find a hospital that would admit her. So apparently she had to give birth alone at home without medical assistance or even an ambulance at the door.My heart is breaking for her, for her baby. For other women in her situation who are scared something like this could happen to them too. I'm angry at a government who had a year and a half to prepare for this, but instead chose to prepare for the weirdest Olympics in history. I'm frustrated and livid about a situation that nobody seems to be taking seriously. They abandoned a woman in need, and forced her to have a premature birth at home, alone and unassisted. This baby didn't die. This baby was killed.Killed by the people who were meant to protect him.Rest in peace little angel, we will never forget you 💜 via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3mqfjUm
