My 5 yo has always loved pink. It’s his favourite Color. He also is obsessed with Pokémon, swords, ninjas and mine craft. He’s a typical boy but also loves pink, rainbows, unicorns and flowers.I love this about him! Today we went and got his school supplies for kindergarten. He picked a Pokémon backpack/lunch kit, a pink binder and a pink pencil kit with a unicorn and flowers on it.I am scared of bullies. I was picked on as a kid and molded to things people told me to like. I want me son to be who he is but not let bullies get to him.Are there bullies in kindergarten? Am I over thinking it? I want to be prepared on how to approach the day he gets bullied (I hope never) What do I say to him? I want him to be able to stand his ground and love what he lovesIt will kill me if a day comes and he asks to get new shoes, shirt, pencil kit because some ass hole kid says he can’t like pink and crush his joy via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3828wIc
