Pandemic parenting - kids with behavior/ADHD issues

Hey fellow parents,I have a 6 years old boy and parenting has been more than challenging since covid. A little background, my son has been doing virtual class ever since covid lockdown ( March 2020), at that time he only did half an year of junior kindergarten ( he has attended 2 years of pre school before that). He is going to grade 1 in September. My son always had issue with impulse control and such like waiting for his turn, interrupting conversation, running off to things that appears interesting to him...etc. Things sorta got better during the first half year of junior kindergarten. We had positive feedback from school and he was and is also doing well academically. And then covid hits and we been at home ever since doing full time virtual class.I don't know how long it has been but some areas of his behaviour has worsen and not improve with age. Things I notice is he is talking excessively as soon as someone is willing to talk to him, alot of interrupting and always on the move. On the other hand he is better at turn taking and being more self reliant. What I am wondering is have you noticed any behavior changes with your kids since covid and how has it affect you and them? Have your children display any ADHD behaviour that didn't exist before? Do you think all the extra screen time and basically very minimal social life is having a negative affect on their behaviors?I am suspecting my son may have ADHD but also I don't know if covid has contributed to all of this and not ADHD.Lockdown and social isolation is really new for all of us and I feel like nobody knows the long term mental health affect it will have in us especially our kids. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3j9oGpL
