My 3 year old daughter has her own bed and bedroom. We’ve had a happy existence of her sleeping in her room and coming in to mine and climbing into bed with me whenever she wakes in the middle of the night.. but now she wakes within an hour or two of going to bed and then insists that I hug her while she rolls around and kicks me for upwards of 4 or 5 hours, keeping me awake with demands to hug her if I dare try to be comfortable and just lay next to her without so much as a finger touching her.She screams the most high pitch bloody murder scream if I try to tell her to stop, to knock it off, or that she can’t sleep in my bed if she’s going to be bossy like that.We live in an apartment complex, so my neighbors get to hear what sounds like me ignoring and beating my kid in the middle of the night.. and I know they can hear me raising my voice and telling her to stop yelling/screaming.Even when I give in, she still cries really loud like I’m not cuddling her.How in all the depths of hell do I stop a screaming child from screaming her whole insanely tiny head off in the middle of the night if everything I try makes her scream even louder? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3EHm3mO
