How long does PPD typically last?

My wife's been cooped up at home, never wants to go anywhere nice or do anything fun. Our baby is almost a year old. I never get to go out on dates or just do anything with her outside of the home. I feel guilty going out alone and leaving her alone with the baby while I'm out having fun.I feel like we're always stuck at home with the baby, we never have any us time, her libido is low and we're rarely physically intimate. The for all of summer and fall, I begged her to go out with me, have dates, spend quality time together outside of the house. I said we can take the baby with us or have my parents babysit.She never wants to. She just isolates herself at home and has become an agoraphobic recluse and I'm despising her for it.It isn't like I'm not helping out with parenting. I'm working 50+ hours a week so she can be a SAHM. On my days off, is it too much to ask to go to an apple orchard or a cider mill, or a haunted house or a Halloween party together? Was it too much to ask to go to a beach or a bonfire or a barbeque?Not only does she never want to leave the house, but she makes me feel guilty for letting her and the baby alone if I express any desire to go alone. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3bzN13b
