So my son 20months, is a super fussy eater, he will only eat certain things and those things are still a challenge.he’s super active and goes for a 1kilometre walk in the morning, 2-3 hour day nap and in the afternoon he plays outside heaps or he goes on another adventure for about half an hour in the afternoon.Even though he’s fussy he still loves his fruit, but some cause bum rash so he’s limited in fruits also, the poor thing.Anyway he’s most difficult for dinner. So the last few weeks I’ve been trying something. If he finishes his dinner, or most of it, he gets chocolate. Not heaps, but like one of those fun size ones, sometimes two - when he has finished it with ease por eaten something I really didn’t think he would eat.Nights where he isn’t eating much And I then have to go and redo 2 more whip up dinners until he’s eaten an adequate amount, he does not get a chocolate. He’s really started to notice if the plates not nearly empty = no chocolate. I’m very happy because hes now not waking up through the night hungry, and he’s also pretty skinny with how active he is so I need him to put weight on, so i feel like the chocolate isnt a bad idea.is It wrong to be conning him to eat his dinner with chocolate? I’m going to be speaking to his doctor in the next few weeks so I will get info from him, but wanted to get others perspectives. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2Y7RaZf
