Does actively trying to stop bed wetting just add needless stress?

When I was a kid I wet the bed. My parents didn’t see it as a problem and just bought me diapers or pull-ups until I grew out of it, which wasn’t until 11 or 12. It was so relaxed and easy (maybe except for the occasional sleep over, but whatever). But anyway I see lots of parents stress over trying to get over bedwetting, using gadgets like bed wetting alarms, trying all kinds of tactics like waking up in the middle of the night to pee, even meditation, etc, so I’m just curious: What’s the right way to do it? Is there any advantages to trying to conquer it early, or is it better to just slap a diaper on the kid and relax? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/31GMSJX
