My wife and I recently brought home our newborn Dec. 3 and we have been tirelessly making sure our little one is being catered to. It’s been a hellish couple of days but we are starting to get into a groove.I noticed she has been seeming very upset lately, aside from the lack of sleep and tremendous stress she’s been under.After asking her if she’s been feeling okay she’s expressed to me that she “doesn’t love our baby as much as she thought she would, I see her [the baby] and feel like she’s just something I have to take care of and it doesn’t feel like she’s mine”. She also explained that she notices the way I’m excited for things such as feedings, diaper changes, and skin to skin time, and claimed she doesn’t feel any excitement or happiness while taking care of her.I’m deeply concerned about her health and don’t know what actions to take to help her out.
