Feeling overwhelmed... distance learning and working from home? Help!

Okay so my wife and I (same sex couple) have a 6 year old son together. He is starting kindergarten in 2 weeks! However because of covid he cannot go in school (we wouldn’t send him even if he could! Where we live it’s gotten really bad!) I have some medical issues which causes a huge risk with covid so we have been quarantine since March. I’ve been working from home since then and my wife lost her job because of covid. Our entire county is doing remote learning, his cousin is also going into kindergarten and their family has also been quarantined since March as well. His aunt is a single mom to a set of twin-1 year olds and a 5 year old starting kindergarten. She asked us to do distance learning with her child and is willing to pay us $300 a week to teach her 5 year old 5 days a week and keep her for 8 hours during that time. (She is in major need of a mom break she’s def stressed with the twins) we are willing to help, and could use the money but I fear I am going to be too overwhelmed!!I am ALREADY overwhelmed and school hasn’t began yet! This is his first year and I know it’s just kindergarten but I don’t want his education to suffer. My job is all online and is pretty lax with what time I need to do it and such I just feel overwhelmed with all of this. I am going to be the one to be helping with most of my sons school work (he doesn’t listen to my wife and won’t take her serious but will listen to me) and I will be helping teach his cousin. How do I make this work? What kind of schedule do we need to come up with to make this happen? How much work do they actually need to be engaged in during the day for kindergarten? How much time during the day needs to be spent on school work? How do I balance all of this? Help!TLTR: Advice on how to structure distance learning for my son going into kindergarten and his cousin while also working from home and keeping up with house work? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2D6qkFN
