I am more than frustrated with this situation. I am due with my second baby any day and have a 1 year old. There is a wedding in oct that my husband is walking in and the wedding is two hours away, with the rehearsal the night before. Driving 2 hours there and back two nights in a row sounds horrendous. Children are not allowed at the ceremony. I would stay home with the kids but my husband said, "I'll have a better time if you're there." I want to go and need a vacation, but at what cost. My mother in law graciously offered to come hang with us in the hotel and watch the 3 month old while we go to both the rehearsal, wedding and ceremony. My mom offered to watch my one year old for two nights. My mom lives 45 minutes north and the wedding is 2 hours south. Making for a 2 hour and 45 minute drive the day before the wedding and the day after. I'm exhausted just thinking about it. I'll say it again, I want to just stay home!! But not only is my husband pressuring me to make it work so are two of my very good friend, that I had no idea were coming. Honestly it sounds like a good time. So I booked 2 hotel rooms for 2 nights. $700 dollars later my husband practically had a panic attack. I dont blame him. We arent rich. I dont know what else to do. . ... I am defeated.
