Should our 3yo watch a home birth?

We’re about to have a home birth and our almost 3yo is very interested in everything baby related. We’ve been reading books about her becoming a big sister for nearly 9mo now, she has the care taker gene and cradles, rocks, nurses, bottle feeds her stuffed animals all day. She’s see her mom nude often. Our midwife left an album of graphic home birth pictures and she seemed very interested and not grossed out by it, just very curious. One of my earliest memories was witnessing my sister being born at her exact age. The room was dark but I was allowed to be in the room and I was very excited when my sister arrived. We wouldn’t have her in the room if mama was overly in pain or bleeding. And if she doesn’t want to watch then of course she wouldn’t need to be in the room, we have a care taker for her.Any concerns I’m not considering while watching her new sibling being born?Often as a parent you don’t realize the impact of something until after the fact. So just asking for additional input here. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2OJRDZk
