So I got pregnant at 19 and it was definitely a surprise. I got pregnant in my second semester of doing online college part time while working as a fast food manager. My boyfriend was doing the same thing. We decided to keep going to school and keep our jobs and just hope for the best. The only thing that kept me going was knowing I don't have to have another kid and I am young so when my kid gets older I will be still pretty young. After finding out we were expecting we moved into a 2 bedroom home.I had my son in October 2018 and my boyfriend proposed to me in December 2018. I thought I was one and done but as time went on I realized if I wanted a second kid I wanted one before I turned 25. My fiance and I talked about it a lot and we both were unsure. We got married in January 2019 and were very happy we decided we did want to get pregnant again but only if we found a doctor that would let me do a csection (I had a traumatic delivery.) We found one right away and found out we were pregnant in April 2019.We moved into a 3 bedroom house after our lease expired so our baby can have their own room. July my husband graduated with his associate's degree and quit fast food and started working as a computer system analyst. He started working on his online bachelors degree in August. In August we started having issues with my blood pressure and had to come in 2 times a week for tests. My baby wasn't due until December so we were very scared. In November I got preeclampsia and had to deliver her early. She was also still breech so they would have had to do a Csection either way. We also decided to have my tubes tied. After giving birth my blood pressure was still very high and I had to get magnesium. We had to stay in the hospital for 1 week because of baby being born early and my health issues. Then I went into the hospital a week after I was discharged and had to be hospitalized again because I had late postpartum hellp syndrome. After everything calmed down medically we were happy with our new baby and our son was so good with her. I will get my associates in about a week and I can teach pre-k or lower. Then I start my online bachelors program In August. My husband should get his bachelors July 2022 and I should get mine July 2024. It does not matter how fast you get your degree! Now the best part is when I turn 30 I will have a ten and an eight year old. I may be spending my early 20's taking care of small children but I feel that I would not have it any other way because I will get my freedom back and I have been getting it back slowly. Plus they keep me working hard for mu degree, they give me a reason to work hard. via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2ZIWksA
