We’ve been having some hot weather in the U.K. this week. It’s been incredibly hot in my bedroom which makes my epilepsy worse. I’ve been sleeping on the sofa to make myself cooler in front of the fan (it’s too big for me to carry up and down every day). Tonight it’s cooler so I went up to bed. Daughter (6) heard the stairlift and came out of her room. She took my hand, still 3/4 asleep and put me into bed and got me her favourite bear. She said she doesn’t want me jitterbugging tonight so she’s going to be nice. She pulled up a sheet and patted my head and sung me a lullaby. She’s now wrapped round my head and snoring her head off but I’m feeling very blessed that she’s trying to take care of me!I know a few people may be offended that she calls my fits the jitterbug but I won’t apologise. She saw it on tv when she was young and said it was like me. Also when I only have twitches I’m chasing bunnies like the dog does when he’s dreaming! It’s her way of coping with it and makes it not scary for her via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3amdS1r
