Sleep training a 3 month old with reflux

My son, who is almost 3 months, has reflux. I've been reading articles and a book that was recommended to me by my pediatrician that around this time is when I should start sleep training. I also read that because of the reflux I should wait. I don't know when and how I should start to do it.
