What do you do or say when your preteen is getting bullied in school?I told her to tell the girls “You’re entitled to your perception of me.” But that does not undo the damaged that these kid’s words have done and will continue to do.I asked her what they were saying to her and they were saying that she’s ugly. I asked her if she thought that she was ugly and she said yes. I assured her that she isn’t and that they’re just being jerks. That she’s a very beautiful and talented girl but idk if that holds any merit with her because I’m mom. I’m “supposed to say those things” apparently.However, it’s true. She is very beautiful. She’s got the most beautiful eyes, a very pretty bone structure, and beautiful hair. I wish she could see what me and her dad and stepmom see.I do not want these types of nasty comments to ruin her self esteem and dull her light. I don’t know what to do.
