Stepfather marriage gift

Hey all. As you can see from my history this is a subreddit I don’t have a ton of experience with but I figured it might be an appropriate place to get some guidance.My girlfriend and I are engaged and going to be getting married. She has two children from a previous marriage, a 5 year old girl and a 3 year old boy. They are both very sweet and I love them.I want to give them each a special gift to commemorate my becoming their stepfather. These gifts will be something their mother and I hold onto for now because they will be too young to use/appreciate it but will hopefully hold some meaning for them later in life when we tell them the story.With the 5 year old daughter, the gift is easy. I found a necklace that I think will fit her just perfectly as she gets older and is exactly what I had in mind.The 3 year old son I am having a little more difficulty figuring out what to get. The necklace was give or take about $1000 so I’m thinking the price range of his present should be similar. I want it to be something he appreciates and hopefully holds onto as he gets older.
