My daughter is leaving the nest soon to go to college and we haven’t had the best relationship since she came to America when she was four and my husband and I adopted her. I don’t want her to leave without coming to terms. Ever since she came here, it was always dad this or dad that, she even cried when he left for work. She goes to him for everything, even sharing person conversations with him while I get nothing. We have tried family therapy but nothing has worked and she says there’s nothing wrong with our relationship. Although, I’m very hurt and confused on why we can’t a similar bond she has with her dad. She didn’t know her bio mom because she was too young too remember but I believe she has something to do with this rift. What can I do before it’s too late? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2LaLS8T
