Too old to believe in the tooth fairy?

My 10 year old daughter came home today with questions about the tooth fairy and I’m a little upset. Obviously I knew this day would come, but I always figured it would be some other kid who burst her bubble. Instead, she tells me it was her teacher. Apparently her teacher used the tooth fairy as an example of a myth.It just bother me that her teacher used the tooth fairy as an example. It seems to me, there could be hundreds of other things she could have used. After the last year our kids have had, couldn’t they just have a little bit longer in believing in the magic? Is it reasonable to tell a class full of 9-10 year olds that the tooth fairy, and subsequently Santa, Easter bunny, etc, are myths? via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/3gLxwJm
