Sick child throws tantrums in their sleep whenever their sick.

Our daughter is 4 and for the last few years, anytime she’s sick she will wake up every hour or so kicking, screaming, scratching, and howling. I’ll get up with her, sing to her and walk around the house and backyard trying to calm her down. The most we can ever get her to say is to tell us that she’s sick, or she doesn’t feel good. Eventually she’ll wear herself out and fall asleep in our arms. Then we’ll get her back in bed to start the cycle over again in about an hour.She’s got another bad cold right now. We have a humidifier going, just took a warm shower, children’s vicks on chest and feet, and children’s Tylenol given right before bed. Last night was pure hell, and I’m laying in bed next to her dreading the night I have ahead of me.
