Unsafe mistakes

Hi all. Literally just joined this sub. I’m a new dad whose son is 4 months old. So please forgive and advise if my post belongs elsewhere or requires additional X etc.So general question: what kind of unsafe mistakes have you made in regards to your child? I ask because today I forgot to buckle my son in his car seat .. again ): we realized our mistake and quickly fixed it but I’m wondering (and hoping - for my sake, not your childrens’) if anyone else has done this? How common is this simple task to forget?
