bed time has never been a problem for him, as we had him sleep trained 3-4 months into his life. we have very rarely co-slept with him (maybe 4-5 times since head born). that being said, recently bedtime has become a problem.our routine has always been a pre-noon nap, then no stimulants an hour before bed. bathe time, cuddle and story time, and then off to bed with his bottle of milk. i’d say this started two weeks ago, where we put him in bed and he started to get upset. the first couple days he got upset, cried for a couple minutes and then fell asleep. but now, we’ll put him in bed and he just starts wailing with this super high pitched scream (this is the first time we’ve heard this high pitched scream happening for naps and bed time now).nothing has changed in his routine. but this wail, holy shit. as soon as we put him in bed, it starts. he stands up wanting to be picked up, wailing his head off. if we leave the room, he’ll stand at his door screaming. he legitimately cried for over 40 minutes tonight at the door.my one thought was, could it be that he doesn’t get a pacifier any more? we stopped giving him one cold turkey about a month ago and he really had no problem transitioning. then this behaviour started two weeks ago.could it be his light source? we had a night light for him, but he always tried to hide it and he was super interested in his sisters lava lamp so we put that in and he was fine.i’m losing hairs here, any help is very much appreciated via /r/Parenting https://ift.tt/2TZ7sRN
